Extract vocals and instrument stems from Suno audio

Need accompaniment for practice, a bass part for editing or an instrument track for transcription? Use MeluMimi to extract a supported target from an authorized downloaded Suno song, listen to the result and keep both the target and the remaining mix.

Listen to the available preview first. Current access, output formats and the full-processing quote appear on the tool.

1. Start with the best available download

Keep your original file and use a download you are authorized to process. Suno provides native stem extraction, so existing stems may already suit your project. For a finished mix or a part you want to process again, upload the audio to MeluMimi. Prefer an available original WAV for repeated editing; converting MP3 to WAV does not recover discarded detail.

2. Choose one supported target

Open the stem separator and choose vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano, synthesizers, bowed strings or wind instruments. Each run returns the selected target and its synchronized remaining mix. Choose vocals when you want a vocal track plus instrumental accompaniment. Choose piano or bass when you want to work on that part.

3. Listen to the preview in context

The tool offers a first-60-second preview for an available target. Check the target and the remaining mix at the same musical phrase. Listen for bleed, missing attacks, altered tone and effect tails. Bowed strings are a specific target, not every plucked string instrument. Check the page for current access and free-preview limits.

4. Download and align the tracks

Review the quote before full extraction and choose an available output format. Download both tracks and place them at the same start time in your DAW. Keep the source nearby to compare. Selecting several targets requires separate processing; this guide does not promise every instrument as independent tracks in a single run.

5. Turn a suitable instrument part into MIDI

For editable notes, download the extracted audio and upload it to Audio / Video to MIDI. Use piano conversion for a piano-focused part or compare the four general MIDI models for other suitable musical audio. Check the separated audio first and inspect the resulting notes. Separation and transcription remain two manual steps.

Use the right tool for the next step

Use audio format conversion for delivery as WAV, FLAC, MP3 or another supported format. For speech, interview or podcast noise, use speech denoising. Decide by listening to the supplied source and outputs below, then preview your own music before committing to full processing.

Common questions

Can I remove vocals from a Suno song?

Choose vocals in the MeluMimi stem separator. It returns a vocal track and synchronized instrumental accompaniment. The result depends on the mix; preview for remaining vocals, missing instruments and artifacts.

Can I extract piano, bass or guitar from the same song?

Yes, these are supported targets. Choose a target and process it separately. The selected instrument and its remaining mix are audio files; use MIDI conversion separately if you need editable notes.

Will every sound be perfectly isolated?

Reverb, layered instruments and overlapping frequencies can leave bleed or remove details. Compare the source, target and remaining mix at the same phrase and decide whether the result suits your task.

Does MeluMimi connect directly to my Suno account?

This workflow uses an audio file you download and upload yourself. Keep the original, verify your right to process it and review the tool's current file limits and quote.
