Prepare the recording
Use a clear piano-focused recording with limited background noise. Avoid clipping and excessive room echo. Upload only media that you own or are authorized to process.
Choose a sustain mode
Use With sustain for connected playing and pedal recordings. Use Without sustain when you want shorter note boundaries for detailed MIDI editing.
Edit the result
Download the MIDI file and import it into a compatible DAW or notation editor. Review tempo, note lengths, velocities, and pedal data before using the transcription in a project.
Supported media
Audio: WAV, MP3, FLAC, M4A, AAC, OGG, and WEBM. Video: MP4, MOV, MKV, and WEBM. Files are limited to 80MB and videos to 5 minutes.

How long are files kept?
Guest audio and MIDI are kept for no more than 24 hours. Registered-user audio and MIDI are kept for no more than 90 days.
